Outstanding work of directing, Nolan was on fire in this a big-budget film where the money is well spent for once.

A dream thief is offered a chance at redemption if he manages to plant an idea into the mind of a powerful and dangerous businessman.  A plot-load of emotive drama and clever twists and turns .  Go have a pee before you watch it because you will be glued to your seat.

Post-apocalyptic tale delivered with excellent cinematography and brooding  slow paced dramatic tension.

A strange wayfarer seems blessed with luck as he struggles to take the last sacred book in the world to the sanctuary of a printing press.  He has to face and overcome many dangers along his path.  The plot devotes a lot of its time on the main villain, played by Gary Oldman, who believes religious  knowledge is power and wants it for himself. A formidable performance from a formidable character played by Denzel Washington.

The script could have been improved by not over focusing too much time on Oldman and his gang to include more road movie like hurdles, representing what went wrong in this world of only few books left.
